When I was expecting my first child, I imagined a place where children feel safe the moment they walk in — a place that feels gentle, warm, and truly like a second home. A place where every child is understood as a whole person, not rushed, not compared, not overwhelmed. And a place where parents feel heard and supported, never unsure or alone.
As I visited preschools in Prague and abroad, I noticed the same patterns: busy classrooms, little individual attention, and children being asked to adapt to a pace that wasn’t theirs. I knew I wanted something different — a calm, respectful environment where children gain emotional security, grow in confidence, and learn to trust themselves. Where independence develops naturally through daily life, and where focus and calm become part of a child’s inner world, not something taught in a hurry.
